Manager Jamie Tunstall made just one change to the starting line-up, with Sam Spenceley replacing Jonny Shepherd in attack. It was a very close encounter from the start, with neither side achieving a clear advantage at the Alexander Steakhouse Stadium.
First Half
It took a full 20 minutes for the home side to produce their first shot, with Josh Crews firing wide from distance. At the other end, Seaham keeper Andrew Jennison did well to get a strong leg to a powerful near-post effort from Town and send the ball round a post for a corner.
On the stroke of half-time, Crews and Mark Robinson both spurned good opportunities for Seaham as the visitors’ defence held fast.

Second Half
Keeper Jack Norton, such a useful addition for Northallerton in recent weeks, excelled to tip an Adrian Burnicle header over the bar after a good cross from James Robinson on 56 minutes.
Northallerton made a series of substitutions during the second half, with the visitors more than holding their own in the closing stages as they pressed forward in search of all three points.
Subs Jacob Stayman-Collin and Dom Moan both asked questions of the home defence but, ultimately, neither side could make the breakthrough in this end-of-season encounter.
