MATCH PREVIEW
Northallerton Town prepares to make the journey North to face Newcastle Benfield this weekend looking to end a bad spell of form under the interim charge of players Dan Jones and Stephen Jackson following yesterday's news of Richard Farrel and his coaching staff resigning from their roles.
CURRENT FORM
Both sides find themselves going into tomorrow's fixture in less than ideal form with the hosts not recording a win in their last whereas Town has seen good form prior to Christmas curtailed with two defeats in two in the league and a cup exit since the enforced break due to weather postponements.
LAST MEETING
The reverse fixture saw the spoils shared in a rain-sodden 1-1 draw, back in early September. Town had taken a 1-0 lead into HT courtesy of a Charlie Graham header before Liam McNamara had evened the scoreline with 20 minutes left to play.
A fair result in all in a game of little quality, albeit both sides were having to deal with awful conditions.
