Jamie, 39, is a vastly experienced defender who will combine playing and coaching duties for new manager Jason Newall.
The Durham-born centre-back has over 500 appearances under his belt at Northern League and National League clubs including Shildon, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, Gateshead, Worksop and Crook.
Jamie on signing for Northallerton:
“My aim is to improve the club from the last few previous seasons. I like to win and worry about the rest later.
"I’ve been lucky enough to play for excellent coaches and with excellent teammates. All this has given me a framework for what I know works, and I try to implement those standards.”
Manager Jason Newall on his latest signing:
“Jamie’s standards are parallel to mine. He cares as much as me whether it’s in training or in a match.
“He sets incredible standards and any young player should look up to him as he has had a great non-league career.”
